IT alone is no longer sufficient for business success. Companies need to control enterprise-wide processes and adopt matching actions. This paper presents an overview of existing approaches of Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM). By reasoning, the importance of integrated EAM for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) is underlines. The study is structured as a systematic literature review of papers published by selected journals and book series from 2006 till 2012.
